afaik all drugs are decriminalized in Portugal and since they implemented that they have had a sharp decline in drug users and no more burden on law enforcement. I believe you can walk around with up to a certain amount of anything before being arrested and considered a trafficker.

I’ve been in Portugal for the last week, bunch of shady characters selling marijuana in the busy squares. They didn’t seem too confident about not being arrested though.

The way the laws written it’s drug users who are safe. Drug dealers would still be prosecuted to the full extent.
