So Philly has a couple choices now IMO:
Acquire a goalie. There's a few dangling out there. Make a playoff push.
Bow out and sell. Try to get Kane.
Philly interest in Kane is "lukewarm" (McKenzie) right now. This could change that since they won't be dumping assets to a product they won't see until next season. So losing mason could up their interest.
I duno. Stuff like this gives teams a good reason to be sellers if they were debating it IMO.
it gives a good reason to sell but flyers fans wont be too happy specially after the last stretch lol but without mason were toast... unless we get another starter masons 4th in sv% and has like a .956 in the last 6 games..a back up wont cut it and were going to sell
id love if we got kane attitude problems or not we need a good LW and if he gets outa line we got berube and hextall as the staff he would get his ass whooped

good leadership guys setting example in giroux and simmonds ect ect
hextall doesnt like making trades but with the centers we have we have expendable players forwards+d with value which are good trading options
he also believes in drafting and building from within so i dont see him dropping a 2nd or 3rd or something on a temp goalie
if we were to get kane and not get fleeced too hard that would prob make up for selling and tanking
