I'm excited for change. We needed it and I hope whoever they get is good at getting more out of younger players.

Yea i wish hextall had his own coach when he got in. But now new Gm new coach new mentality i love the direction hes taking us

Except Hartnell trade still brutal imo

yeah no kidding and arguably the reason for not making the playoffs
that whole trade was fucked up he traded our best lw making our lw depth even worse for a 4th line lw making the same $$ and we missed the playoffs... hes going in the right direction but that trade was a step in the wrong direction
hartsy was a good leadership type guy too and his offense sure woulda been nice to have at times along with his voice in the room i imagine

Very much so. Umberger was a healthy scratch multiple times that season. I think they didnt like the signing deal they gave Hartnell the year before the trade, regretted it and asked him to waive his NTC and he did for whatever reason

hartsy is a team player if they dont want you there he prob doesnt wanna be there
umburger i think may have been hurt at times he looked good but mostly just sucked ass

i understand trying to save the $$ and a year on the contract but still hartsy is producing umburger isnt it woulda been for picks but bringing back umburger was the worst idea ever and him+ a 4th? we gave hartsy away

the rest of his trades seem pretty solid but always have that in the back of your mind like uh oh

so that dannick martel guy flyers signed played 5 ahl games got 3 points guy had 64gp 48g 54a 108p in the Q
Finished second among all QMJHL skaters in points (102) and third in goals (48) during 2014-15 season

they got him as a center on ahl site but lw on elite prospects...maybe a decent lw prospect ^^
