just wondering whats all detroits fans opinion on babcock and if he leaves ? i do want him to stay but i wont be too upset
i feel blashill is definitely ready
its almost creepy listening to him in interviews he sounds just like babcock

If howard leaves I think Gustavsson might stay though he's made of glass it seems.



Been saying for a while, I wouldn't panic if babcock leaves because blashill coached half the team to the calder cup. He's a great coach - obviously not as good as babcock but he's ready for an NHL spot, and if he doesn't get it with the wings this year don't be surprised if he gets it with someone else next year.

only thing is we dont really leave grand rapids with much lol

Ehhhh I'm with stealth though, if wings trade Howard they need a backup that can step up if mrazek isn't up to snuff. That's why I like gus... but he's been healthy for like a third of his time in detroit.

but really i dont see howard going anywhere the season will most likely be split
but everyone says they are so excited for our goaltending tandem bla bla bla
i just dont see howard thriving with it thought i feel like he is too much in his own head for all of that

I don't see him traded this year. I think he'll split something like 47/25/10 with Mrazek as healthy 1A and McCollum coming up to cover for Howard as 1B during Howard's annual groin injuries.
