As @AntSanPhilly reported last night, he did not go to OTT with team. If not done by Sunday, he won’t play vs NYI either. All eyes on FLA, but COL has not given up. I think it will be Panthers, but, as I write this, Panthers have not made an offer that has PHI saying yes.

No Claude Giroux trade yet, sources say. He won’t play Friday or Sunday, the Flyers will hold him out until the situation is resolved through the deadline. Florida remains very interested. I think Colorado remains in the mix. We’ll see what Friday brings.

so i guess its between florida and avs? and florida i feell like doesnt make sense they already have the best offense in the league and just improved their d and have like zero cap space
before the chiarot trade i could see florida but now i think panthers are pretty set
and panthers already gave up both firsts for the next 2 seasons so were either getting a 1st in like 3 seasons or a heavy prospect return
or due to cap if panthers do make a trade its probably a 3 team trade maybe we get a 1st from the 3rd team+prospect or something
the avs it sounds like flyers want newhook but avs are offering girard+
I'd be surprised if Avs gave up Newhook for a rental. If it was a player with another year on the deal @ 50% so they are protected next year when they lose Kadri (and won't have Newhook) then maybe.
But I do imagine the Flyers telling the Avs that it's Newhook or GTFO lol.
