i believe bettman promised detreoit owners that they wouldnt have to go back west when they were relocated east
i think we would just have odd amount of teams in the conferences we had it before
but if a team does and its not detroit the next closest west teams are toronto and coloumbus



every single hockey person has had this feeling for a decade lmao
it doesnt happen though he wants the yotes there he will do everything possible to keepem there its a huge market just not for hockey
but if he can ever get hockey to take off there its huge for the sport but thats a big if you cant make people like hockey with shitter teams like the yotes ice

If arizona was to go to quebec I imagine CBJ bumps over to central.

That is the only logical choice but Columbus will still fight it

they could do toronto tbh its further west then columbus

also they just had the all canadian division last year where toronto spent a bunch of time out west they have the fanbase that no matter the game start time views and attendance will be through the roof
columbus already has issues with that stuff you start their games at 10 pm ... its not likely to get better lets just say that

Leafs were in Western Conference between 1981 and 1998

I know some really, really old Albertans who are die hard Leafs fans because they used to be Canada’s westernmost team. I guess that’s not super relevant, but just sayin.

Some confusion setting up a drill at #Canucks practice, as Travis Green discussed it at length with Boeser.
