According to the way we draft these past few years we might take someone off the board too

Ill be glad with whoever we get but hoping for a dman really (unless Marner or Barzal) who would bring life to a second line)

Could make sense, but Hextall value defense really high and one of Provorov, Werenski, Hanifin will be up and I expect him to get one

i wouldnt be mad if we took Crouse, would fill our biggest need of a LW right away but imo there would be better players (i dont think size can justify picking him over talent)

if hes there on some hes like top 5
i didnt like what i saw in wjc but hes gotta be ranked like top 10 for a reason and we do really need a lw
however i think hextall will go with a D and then LW with our later pick from the bolts but if he was to go wing then D i wouldnt be mad maybe end up with like crouse and kylington or something since he seems to be dropping

we got 2 2nd rounders too hopefully stock up on wingers with those


also if we go off the board i think its more with our later 1st i think the top 10 are pretty much all going to be known top 15 expected sorta deal

best scenario for me would be Marner-J. Roy
or Werenski-LWer (or a steal)

Then go for highest upside in later rounds. Dont go for the 3rd liner (like Tyrell Goulbourne) instead of Duclair lets way. Pick some guys that can really spark it up but might fall down because of X factor and hope for them to just clear things up.

Either a d-man or a forward

Some of the best d-man we're 2nd rounder or later so there could be gems hidden in the second round (im thinking Meloche here)

how would the best scenario for you be wasting a top 10 pick on another center? thats like oilers strategy
i mean unless hextall drafts him and decides to pull the trigger on moving the schenns for a lw by all means im down

if we draft another d in the 1st we already got 5 promising prospects you dont wanna overdo it we lack wingers and forwards in general in the prospect pool
we could prob use another goalie too but if we dont no biggie stolarz is pretty promising

They should take Crouse if he's available, Connor if he isn't. Would make the best sense for the team, but after the last few years who the fuck knows

that conner guy good? in buttons he was ranked 7th or 8th lol button seems to go by how they play that month so if hes a high rising lw with potential flyers prob go for him if they want a winger n crouse is taken


how awsome is this? man draft day as a flyers fan thats not like yay were drafting 3rd rd + ... stockin up on higher picks
were not even that far off from a playoff team so its like a rebuild but a mini one but we get to enjoy drafting becasue were keeping our picks were actually excited about the players we can draft lol
