Kaprizov has been rumored to have a 1 year deal in place with the KHL'S CSKA Moscow squad should the Wild not be able to sign him.

He is reportedly trying to push the Wild into a shorter term deal.

His agent is really driving a hard bargain.

Personally I like Karpizov's confidence in himself.

He turns down a high paying long term deal because he believes he can make more with a bridge deal + sign another big contract down the road.

He certainly believes his electric Calder Trophy winning season was no flash in the pan.

Wild shd just sign him for short term he wants instead of keep trying for long or mid term deal. They can't afford to lose him

but he probably wants to sign til hes UFA then walk anyways but yeah i guess at least short term you have him and can play or trade him

Yeah signing him to 3yrs still better than letting him walk to KHL.

a lot of the players on this list I thought would be signed by now, it's based on last season's cap hit

if he goes to arb and it factors in last season i dont think much more then he made this season which was 3m or something


flyers have just over 4m in cap space and i feel like 4m is high end for what sanheim could get which would put us right against the cap

e: if arb gives sanheim over 4m flyers are kinda fucked then its like now what lmao
