I'm okay with the way the season went... certainly showed our issues that were covered up last year with insane 3rd period come backs.

Need a goalie, need a quicker start to the year (everyone but Gaudreau was afk for the first month) and could use another top-6 guy. I like where we are at, decent pool of young prospects and guys who are just entering their prime.

Yea it was an expected season, godreau was the only consistent presence. You're right about the top 6 guy, but also need a proper shut down guy on the blue line and goalie.

3 players and I'd like to think this team could become competitive for a playoff spot

There's some trash on the blue line and in net that needs to be tossed

Kari Ramo and I blow our ACLs on the same day, Ramo is very post-surgery and back on the ice this morning, and I'm still in limbo and on waiting lists and bullshit. Canadian system is free, but this experience is pretty eye-opening as to how lacking it is. Should have told everyone I played for the Flames. Ffs, could still be another 4-5 months because I'm a non-pro athlete pleb.

Took me a year and a half to see an orthopedic surgeon after compressing my neck

Fack. Ya, this acl tear is so standard and common, but I've been passed around by doctors all over the place, all taking a cut. It's really absurd. I'm going through the Banff system because the line will be shorter, but I'm still not even on a wait list yet. If I miss next year's ski season I'm gonna jump off a bridge.

Missing winter is tough, I missed 2 in a row No skating, snowboarding etc.

If you're not in within the next couple months I'd say your winter is a right off

I believe the recovery is up to 6 months

Which bridge are you gonna jump from

I suggest the glacier skywalk

Recovery is like 6-10 months, yep. Hoping to be back for Jan, ideally. I think if you work at it and not be a fat ass 6 is doable, so I hear.

Jumping off a cliff is what got me here, so maybe I'll just continue with that. Maybe Ha Ling...

He was good, I wouldn't say he stood out though

That line needs a veteran to show em how it's done, Hudler did it for them last year.

Look at the Panthers as well, Jagr is showing guys in their early 20s how its done.

He did the same for Seguin/Marchand in Boston as well.

The lack of veteran scoring on this team is a huge hole.
