Remember it's about the best rookie "season" and not just the best rookie when it comes to Calder.

However I wouldn't be surprised if McDavid won it just 'cause he's the "chosen one" and everyone is sucking his dick.

If he comes somewhat close to being the points leader I guess he does deserve it even if he missed half the season.
