Anyone else made a wizard?

I was told to go straight intelligence, but I'm not doing as much damage asi think i should be doing, trying to figure out how to make a proper build..

i am a wiz and basically thats what im doing trying to find the best int gear and vit(secondary)

im level 42 and doing like 1.7-2k dps not exactly sure right now

damage wise i think im doing alright but your a dps char and can die pretty easily so i need a group with a tank while i can dps from behind but i have 4k+ life so i can take some hits

i use frost nova blizz electic shock and destruction( the laser one)
