Dang, the chick just dont get it... Spent $200 on $75 worth of groceries at the superstore.... straight robbery.

Try working at their distribution center.

You see how cheap they get everything for and the robbery becomes even more apparent.

It is absolutely sickening.

seriously man?

I dont want want to exaggerate, but it seemed like anything between a dollar or two had .50 cents to a dollar added onto it and anything between two and four dollars had $1.50 to $2 added to it.

Never mind the price of meat/ lbs

Ya it is absolute bullshit imo. They always gouge one way or the other.

They were recently involved in a price fixing scam that they eventually settled by giving out $25 gift cards to people who bought price gouged bread for years.

I don't want to target Loblaw specifically as I figure every major grocery chain is involved in this type of shenanigans. Years ago when I worked at Save On Foods retail they would temporarily raise prices of items significantly for a few weeks and then drop them back to normal prices but advertise the products as being on sale....

The amount we pay for food is bordering on criminal.

I thought big box stores offered the best deal (bigger = economies of scales = better prices dug) but nowadays I buy fresh produce/meat exclusively from smaller local grocers. You know something is wrong when Safeway is selling ground beef for $5/lb on the reg... even Superstore is no good most of the time.

Has anyone read about the potential exit scheme that seems to be happening with quadrigacx?

Apparently there are withdrawals from the 6 figure to million plus range that have been sitting in limbo for months, with little to no support from the broker itself

They are claiming the funds are being transferred through a payment processor called wb21, which looks shady as hell

Canadian banks are causing problems with funding and withdrawal from bank accounts, delaying transfer or denying them. As well as locking user's account for doing transactions with quadriga.

If you're a Canadian crypto trader be very wary when making transactions through this broker, as the other brokerages seem unaffected in this way.

You can read the complaints etc on the quadrigacx subred

This type of scamming has been an issue with Bitcoin and crypto currencies since the beginning and one of the main reasons I don't want to invest in them. Unfortunately the websites that you use to purchase coins arent regulated and therefore this shit can happen. It's definitely an issue that has been going on for some time and likely a risk most people dont realize is there.

I hope it isnt true and you get your money :./
