I'm currently with Bell and have a S6 that I got for 0$ about two years ago. I pay 60/month taxes not included for 4 gb of data.
I'm wondering what would be my monthly payment had I payed the phone outright when I bought it. Anyone know approximately ?
Some quick mafs for you guys :
Paid my phone 0$ and paid 60/month for two years = 1440$
Let's say I would have paid my phone 1000$, it would have to be under 440/24 = 18.33/month for it to be advantageous ? Or is there something I'm missing ? Under 20/month for 4 gb of data seems extremely cheap..
Well first if u bought s6 2 yrs ago today, it woulda costed way less than 1k to buy outright cuz S7 woulda been the new toy costing 1k and s6 woulda be the outdated one. So buying outright would be like 600, and u woulda had a better plan with no contract tying u down, like 40/mo for 4gb month to month. saving u 20bux a month. Also u get the option to switch over to another company if they offer better plans. So it would be 600 + 40 x amount of month u pay.
