Yeah this is messy af, I feel bad for their kids
Imagine being a star in the NHL and earned enough finances to set you up and your family for life... But u choose to gamble and give that all up.
She just slammed him

Imagine being broke af, but u still gamble. Imagine ignoring your lawyers advice, that u pay for while in debt lol

NHL will probably step in if this escalates any further, and come to a conclusion to penalize the Canucks cuz he's from bc.

nhl is already investigating him

because they often succeed lol. wings, pens, coyotes, oilers, jets all were built on the taxpayer's dime to varying extents. quebec city even built an arena on the prospect of luring an NHL team eventually, funded by both local and provincial taxpayers.

even when it's not outright handing over money the investments are almost always terrible because cities rarely get gate revenue and must rely on stuff like new property tax or parking revenue... except the money they loaned or deferred could've been spent on literally anything else like schools, roads, transit, utilities, fuck even outright tax breaks would be better.

taxpayers get baited because owners will pitch "revitalization" projects in poorly developed or ran-down parts of the city but again, they miss the opportunity cost of doing literally anything else with the money that could've achieved the same goal.

Tampa Bay Rays owner has been trying to get the public to pay for their new stadium for the last 5 years, he even brought up going to Montreal before he got locked into a 5+ year extension

Several Sharks teammates don't want Evander Kane back on the team: Sources

So this rumor was leaked few months ago when SJ tried to trade him, but another article came out today recently.

The team was trying to trade Kane earlier this summer, a source says, confirming a report from the Daily Faceoff. A big part of the reason for the team to pursue a deal was Kane's strained relationship with many of his teammates, according to several sources.

According to one source, the frustration with Kane stemmed from a general “disrespect for team rules,” such as being late for practices and games.

“And zero consequences came, which caused a ripple effect with other, younger guys,” added the source. According to another source: “It wasn’t easy dealing with him this season.”

I figured he fit in nicely with the sharks after he had problems in buffalo and winnipeg, but i guess he's hard to deal with as a teammate/person. Shitty, cuz he had one of his best season, but he's just a pos

Pretty clear the guy is a dipshit.

Goes back to when he living here in Vancouver as a kid/teen, people that knew him here would say the same thing lol.

Guy never grew up it seems.

His attitude runs so deep it is likely incorrigible, regardless of the situation or the degree of intervention. Look how much is on the line and the behaviour has still not been corrected.

It is really irritating but I have learned to accept there are some people that just wont change.

When it reaches this point you have the choice to accept their glaring flaws or cut them lose. No amount of reform is going help.

I can't imagine how frustrating this must be for family, fellow players and coaches. When you see such talent go off the rails you can't help but get annoyed with how wasteful it is.

I remember 2 years ago when Koj argued that Kane contract was a good one and that he had turned his attitude around 💁
