As soon as your team develops a good player and it’s time to pay them, they are shipped off to succeed anywhere else. Watching guys like Pageau, Karlsson, Zibanejad, and Stone light it up elsewhere because your owner is too cheap to keep them around is a way worse fate than a small losing skid, so I ain’t upset.
