im in it for the long haul though, would gladly lose 10k now than potentially miss out on big $$$$ several years from now
With stock like this you never know.. maybe you can sell in a year or so and still maintain good position for future growth. You don't have to sell it all just enough to get your original investment back and ride out the profit while reinvesting the 10k.
