Extremely puzzling trade by Benning considering we already have a ton of young bottom-9 center depth, including a similar fringe NHLer in Vey that he acquired for a 2nd round pick that would have been McKeown.

Yep that's about it. Shinkaruk has been on the top line with Monahan and Gaudreau, not looking out of place.

Flames beat Nucks in OT tonight, the Flames give Backstrom the start in Min (auto loss). Meanwhile, Nucks beat the Oilers for their last game, because nobody loses to the Oilers twice.

Flames draft ahead of Nucks again, ta daa.
