firstly, alfie will never be traded he's going to retire a senator, and i can think the same for phillips (pretty sure he has a NTC)

It's a pretty deep draft.. but no Crosby this year. The top 4 is pretty good with Landeskog, Larsson, Couturier and Nudgent-Hupkins. After that.. there's not clear top 10 or whatever. The way things are going right now, we should be good do draft one of them.. Personally, I would like Nugent-Hupkins.. people compare him to Sakic His only problem might be that he's too small.. but hey, that's what they said about St-Louis too. Lot's of people are saying that Landesog may be the next Alfie.. he's swede and has a great leadership. His style of play is not really like Alfredsson though, more like M. Richard. Larsson is considered better than Hedman was at the same age, and is a future star at blue line. And Couturier is a good all around player, good in both end of the ice. He's big and protect the puck well.

all i know is we need some big gritty dudes

Couturier is who we want. but we won't get him

Oh, and Melnyk said Alfie is one of the player who's "untouchable", as he want to retire as a Senators. Phillips also want to stay in Ottawa, his family is installed here and he likes the city. I could see him being traded for a playoff run and then resign with Ottawa this offseason. Kovalev, Ruutu and Kuba will likely be traded at the deadline for picks or prospect.

i feel that kelly, fisher, alfie, and phillips will retire sens.

I don't like Couturier very much My top 4 would be :

1. Nudgent-Hupkins
2. Landeskog
3. Larsson
4. Couturier

So Karlsson was the last D to be chosen. But i wish he would been chosen to team Lidstrom
