do you guys think the oilers are being fucked by ownership?
they switched gms and are still making weird trades and decisions that dont quite make sense
i feel like a lot of times you see stuff like that within a franchise throughout multiple gms its often times the owner pushing weird shit through
or did he just hire multiple garbage gms?
Ryan Rishaug tweeting out his thoughts on the rumours that Larsson will not return to the Oilers.
“On Adam Larsson, the simple fact is, the player hasn't decided what he wants to do yet, and it could go either way. He is considering a few offers they feel are fair from the Oilers on different lengths, but he is taking his time, wanting to make a good decision for his future.”
“Taking this much time leads to the perception that he's likely leaving, but am told that at this point the Oilers are still a very strong option for him. My sense is the team is willing to be patient to a point, while he makes this decision”.
“Larsson is methodical, and has been working on his own timeline through this process, not wanting to rush an important decision. The Oilers have the offers there for him, he's in the process of deciding if he wants to stay, or go see what's out there. Could still go either way.”
Frank Seravalli sent a tweet last night speculating that Adam Larsson will not be returning to the Edmonton Oilers organization. That set off a number of tweets and headlines from the media.
On Friday on Bob Stauffers show Oilers Now. Mark Spector was asked about Adam Larsson. His thoughts on the deal is that Larsson and the Edmonton Oilers have made a gentleman’s agreement and that he would sign after the draft.
A few days ago Holland stated that they already had the money set aside for Larsson for when he’s ready to return. Larsson was also rumoured to be in Europe with Draisaitl.
I just don’t see a guy that testing the market travelling with teammates and having fun.
I’ve also heard that the Oilers offered Larsson a really good deal. Somewhere between 4 to 4.5 million for 5 years. He’s also expected to paired with Duncan Keith when returning to the Oilers. I just don’t see him leaving the organization. I agree with Spec that he will return. I just don’t see home going anywhere else and having the opportunity he has in Edmonton. But I guess time will tell.

They just didn't want to protect him and he'll sign after the draft. But who knows. I disappeared from forum for a month cause I'm tired of Oilers franchise.
