I think bergi is a genius tbh, he got to protect Allen. Force Seattle to think hard if they wanna commit to price or not. Either way, the Habs can spend up to almost 18m cap to strengthen their team or keep the 1a/1b goalie tandem going with 8m to improve the team.



That's an obvious cap circumvention, so i dont think that is allowed. Also, it really doesn't make sense for the Kraken to do this, spending like 5+mil of cap space for the next 5 seasons for a player not even on their team... The return would have to be amazing for that.. Heck no one wanted to touch loui Eriksson's contract the past 3 years lol
