if they do get him they gotta have a big season prove they can win and maybe he will extend but that will be a big risk for the cost there is likely better options if thats the case
It's normal, they always talk about the leafs. That's why a lot of fans outside of Toronto get annoyed by it. A little info here and there is obviously fine, but the problem is they overwhelmingly talk as if leafs are like tampa and won couple cups and has several more chances for more. Most recent example I can think of is during the Habs VS Jets series broadcast, they're still talking about how the leafs could've done better than Jets, etc. Bro stfu, ur team choked and blew away a 3-1 series lead against the Habs first and pretty much threw away a golden opportunity to go to the finals by playing just 1 team outside of the Canadian division lol.
