i mean its been obvious for years they have been doing make up calls
a team takes like 3 pealties in a row the other team magically gets called for a BS call just to even it up

specially this season lmfao the reffing this season is sooo bad they got the horse blinders on and only see what they want to see

i feel like a big part of it is keeping veteren refs that are known to blow calls and be shitters just because they have been around its blind loyalty
if they suck at their job replace them who cares if they reffed for 5+ years they can go ref the ahl and get good

Colin Campbell's emails got leaked years ago about this same thing, and nothing happened to him

He just got fired.

NHL had no choice to do it. That being said his union will probably sue the league on his behalf.

This is not just going to brush under the rug and never be discussed again.

it's bizarre seeing a statement from Campbell that Peel is fired when he did the same thing years ago

“Referee Tim Peel no longer will be working NHL games now or in the future.”

I'm actually surprised the league fired him, always wanted that fucker gone. Who knew the idiot would finally get caught and be fired this year. Too bad he alrdy planned to retire end of 21 season, so I feel like he just gave no fucks.

It's also fucking gold and ironic that Campbell talks about integrity and how the league will do their best to protect it rofl. If that were true, the fucker would be long gone. I'm still salty af about him protecting the bruins cuz his son played for them and they got away with a lot of the shit compared to all other teams. gotta give props to this fucker to release a statement like that with no shame.
