Went to Home Depot and they didn't have the right size loil.

The only one that sort of fit was too big for the glass lid (shown in the picture).

I'll try a different store tomorrow.

No it doesn't have sentimental value

It is just a coffee grinder, haven't even used it yet.

It does a quality job on the grind, but it's built cheaply. Eventually the pentagonal post on which the handle spins becomes stripped and then it doesn't spin anymore. Gluing that nut on top fixes that problem permanently.

It's the best grinder for my needs, especially at its price. I just need to make this modification before I use it, otherwise I'll be buying a replacement every few months.
