Philly has other players that need new contracts soon, they cant afford to over pay. Unless they dont want Schenn, Raffl, Read, Timmonen, Mesaroz.

They have a fuck load of UFAs unless they are gutting their team

timo is prob going to retire or be taking less $$ he wasnt quite himselfc this season
meszaros is prob going to be gone by the deadline
schenn is already at 3m not like hes going to get a super huge raise

the only real big jump is girouxs extension but between the players most likely to get moved n the cap going up... its not so bad we only gotta resign raffl and schenn and timo really
i wouldnt be surprised if 2 d get moved even i dont think homers happy with our D but when pronger went down mezzy bein pootched for like a year n a half he had to get guys to play but now we got gust and shit too
flyers d just had so many injuries when all healthy we got too many high paid guys they aint stickin around

yeah but you would think after paying moulson 1st and 2nd you would want to keep him
i dont think vanek in the last year of his contract fetches that return at the deadline as a rental
but then agian you never know preds paid a 1st rounder for gaustad
