I think it's combination of everyone,starting with lol oilers.

I think the fact Detroit, Canucks and Buffalo that clearly needed the help got rekt with lotto luck and picked 4oa instead of at least top 3. (Buffalo got rekt cuz loloilers lotto luck win for mcdavid) Also the fact teams that barely missed playoffs are rewarded with top 3 pick like Philly, Jets etc.

Canucks managed to thrive with jackpots even without the lotto or top 3 pick, but Detroit, Buffalo and other teams that is legit bad got rekt even further. Although Buffalo at least still got good picks, just that eichel isn't mcdavid and dahlin is still young etc. That team is like oilers 2.0, no idea how they're still so shit with that core they got

Rangers won #2 in 2019 and #1 in 2020

Devils won the #1 in 2019 and 2017

I've been on board for a maximum amount of spots you can move up for a while now so I'm happy they're considering it.

Not a huge fan of the 2 wins maximum in 5 years proposition though.

also cost philly patrick kane and we got jvr instead
then we get patrick whos played like 50 games total due to health issues

philly and 2nd round picks seem like curses

I'm surprised Flyers took Patrick 2nd overall given how serious his health issues were before the draft

when the guys got all the tools like he does its not that surprsing
injuries have held him back he hasnt been able to play consistent hockey and adapt to the nhl but if he gets in 2-3 seasons i think this guys going be insanely good hes shown flashes at times where its like you see why this guy was projected #1 up to the draft

Per source, Buffalo Sabres centre Eric Staal is open to a move to a contender and the expectation is a deal will occur before the April 12 trade deadline.

Heard oilers are an option.
