Hiller's given up. He blew it to start the year, and I remember maybe in January Roger Millions saying "wow a shutout after not playing for months, well done" and Hiller says "well my last start I only let in one, so it shouldn't have been months between games." So, he's pissed. Watching him dig the pucks out of the net as well, he clearly doesn't care anymore. Too bad, had a good run last year.
Frankly the book is out on Hiller and everyone knows it. He's weak up high and isnt particularly dominate down low like Dubnyk (who plays a similar style) is. That's why Anaheim let him walk, if he was a bona fide #1 like he appeared to be in Anaheim, theres no way they are letting him leave for nothing.
He had a good run last year splitting starts but he cant seem to handle the full work load.
