Could be why Vegas was clearing space. Same with CBJ, but I doubt he wants to go there.

Vegas was clearing space ( stasny ) to get under the cap. They have 2.8 now to fill 2 roster spots.
Moving Fluery would add 7 mil of course but only ~5 useable since a new back-up would need to be added to the roster.
Not enough to take a swing at Pietrangelo.
I can see them going after 3/4mil D or forward if Fluery is moved

He schooled Benning, trolled the shit out of him. Wasted so much time on oel and markstrom, before he could do anything with the others. Yet neither of them are on the team ahhaa

Benning should have set a hard deadline at a way earlier time.
