I know there's a thread up already, but Howe had a stroke, guess it was pretty serious and he is home resting. Hope Mr. Hockey pulls through, he is getting up there though.
They interviewed his kids. He's been having increasingly larger strokes for the last 6 months. Murray said he's "on his last lap around the rink." It sounds like we're gonna be seeing a tribute this season

Murray is a doctor at the hospital where they've been treating gordie.
Good news is they said he's in good spirits nonetheless. They're all staying with him and watching home videos and old clips of him playing.

He's the reason hockey took off here, the reason for Gretzky and so many other amazing players to even put on skates. Sounds like he had a great family life too.
