I don't really get this. Why give Markstrom a bloated contract over taking Fleury + a pick. Fleury would be the perfect player and contract to take to transition to Demko, not to mention the additional asset.

Seeing a lot of mixed reports on this.

Sounds like Toffoli really wants to stay and is giving the Canucks every chance to sign him but the Canucks aren't trying very hard.

Looks like we have a lot of significant balls in the air. At least the OEL saga will end this Friday (as per his agent) and we'll get some clarity.
