Apparently Vancouver has insane leverage, OEL wants van or Boston only. Prefers van. Yotes are the ones first to ask him for places he wanna be traded to, not oel. Yotes tried to ask for more teams, but he is sticking to only those 2, as he has the right to so. Kind of like Kesler situation with lolnucks, except Kesler told everybody and also wanted out himself. Oel didn't mind staying, but the team pressured him, also the fact that the owner can't pay him probably makes him more inclined to go somewhere where he will be paid, at least on time lol.
I'm just glad Benning seems to know they have the leverage and isn't going nuts with his offer. Honestly he should tell yotes his deal is good until tomorrow afternoon or something, otherwise he has to pass so he can work on 10 billion other things. He can't stay waiting around for them to accept any longer etc. They've been trying to trade the past couple weeks, it just intensified couple days ago.
If ownership is responsible for pressuring the trade good for OEL to stick it two them by demanding Vancouver/Boston or not deal.
That team has so many problems but I don't feel bad taking advantage. Business is ruthless.
I agree. Cant sit around. They have no leverage. Time to push them into a decision.
