In a game where like 4-5 goals get scored a game, I think refs botching a call on a goal is a bigger deal then missing a foul in basketball.


I mean in the 2017 finals the refs basically handed Pens the Cup, I watched prolly 15 jackets games this year and there’s no consistency on what is or isn’t called as a power play. Just my 2 cents man, I like the idea of the sport and the fighting. But refs seem like they would make me rip my hair out if I cared

refs werent great, ill agree. they missed 2 pretty obv calls on the blues today and penalized marchand for something stupid

i guarantee theyll be calling it tight, esp against the blues on sunday


it hurts, i know. the hand pass goal sucked. but if the bruins play their game, it can be overcome

See my response to the other guy. I’m not sure what basketball officiating has to do with botching goal/no goal calls in hockey. We’re talking about a sport with an average of 5 points a game vs 210 points a game, I think it’s a little more impactful when it happens in hockey
