who would want him with that cap hit? $4.75M for someone who can't even play center for the Leafs?

no one will claim him. the leafs will then offer to pay half his salary and he'll return a 4th or 5th round pick

Some team with cap to fill? Maybe CBJ, Phoenix?, FLA? Idk. I don't think he'll make trough the waivers

I think it's more he doesn't fit future plans

what future plans? his contract is up at the end of the year. Connolly has been a bust.

Dupuis and Karlsson will likely get claimed

Well it was a terrible signing from day one, but leafs can pay him while he's on the Marlies, and keep Kadri up

Leafs freeing up an awful lot of cap space. I have a feeling that were going to mention the leafs in this topic again within the next few days
