how is it a failure ? i started at 175 and now im 195 ( looking leaner then i was at 175 ) my strenght jumped on everylift ( 110 dbs bench press / 315 lbs squats / 4 plates deadlift etc )

fast walking and a good diet would have better effect on fat loss then cardio , just saying ROOKIES.

Diet is the only thing that matters in fat loss.

ONLY , all you need is a deficit doesn't matter how you get there.

If someone needs 3k calories to maintain and eats at 500 calorie deficit but does no cardio

yet another guy needs 3k calories , and eats 100 calorie deficit but does cardio .

the guy who isn't doing cardio will burn more fat because he is at the bigger deficit.

But what you're ignoring is the fact that cardio burns calories and can help get to the decifit.
I'm not saying that cardio is the only way (or even the most effective way) to burn calories, but it burns calories, and hence is not useless to fat loss.

Okay let's make an analogy here.

I want to make money (analogous to fat loss)
But to make money, I have to get to work (analogous to a deficit)
Now, as long as I get to work, how I get there doesn't matter. So my car (analogous to cardio [car/cardio hehe] that will drive me the 40km is useless?

Doesn't change the speed. Still burning at same rate.
