The teams sitting idle will play a team that had the opportunity to get their legs behind them.

I would imagine a lot of teams in the by week are going to fall flat in their first game when they play teams who are starting to get back into the flow of things.



From what I’ve heard the bye teams will get to play each other , presumably for positioning.

Would not be surprised if in the 2nd round all of the lower tier teams won their first game (if not the series) because they had a bit of game experience and a chance to get in game shape.

More teams in playoffs = more money.

Can not really argue against that. Arizona started sliding when they traded for Hall. The guy is cursed lol. For some time they were actually division leaders.
