Divisions are dumb


16 each side and the best 8 make it in order

i mean the last wildcard spot is tied with 2 points more then the leafs
lots of games to go that can change either way doesnt seem like its a 10 point difference or anything major


i generally dont think its that bad of a system but if one division is weak it does kinda stick out like a sore thumb
normally the top 3 in each div are fairly good teams though

True but it's not that uncommon for the 2 best teams in a conference to be playing each other in rd 2 and that shouldn't happen. Bruins/lightning and blues/avs would both be awesome series if they can get past rd 1, but they shouldn't have to play each other in rd2. Meanwhile whoever wins the Pacific gets a much easier path to a conf final.

Yeah its going to be interesting, theres a rink up by where im at that the sharks held an alumni game at, would be cool if they came up here, i'd go each night lol.
