Not rumors or reports. Bleacher report is 100% speculating that he'll retire because he keeps getting injured. There's no basis behind it, no sources or anything pavel has said. Not that farfetched but other writers have taken that and run with it as if it were a real report though. Journalistic integrity at its best.

Yeah lol. I wouldn't be terribly shocked if he did, but the only stories I can find on it reference how Bleacher report had pavel datsyuk on a list of 10 players who might retire. The article basically says "He's old and gets injured so he may stop after this year." No source, just speculation. But now everyone and their mother is posting articles about how datsyuk might retire according to Bleacher report.

Tatar helped off the ice after a linesman kneed him in the face. I hear the city of Detroit just hit the guinness world record for the loudest concurrent sigh in history.

Anyone know if he's okay?
