I think the worst part is that NHL will let it go easy on the yotes. They dont wanna piss off the owner who finally brought some stability for the team. If it was lolleafs or the original 6 teams caught doing this, i bet they'd get some draft picks taken away and shit.

5mil is chump change to the dude worth 2bil, it wouldn't harm or dent his pocket in anyway, but it sure would just piss him off lol

sure but you don't become a billionaire throwing money away, the team is not profitable enough to be throwing away millions in fines (not saying he will actually go bankrupt, but the organization itself can't really manage this)
