The argument has always been that too much time is already spent reviewing plays.
Fans may lose interest if the game is disrupted too often.
However I think more fans will be lost if obvious calls are missed that botch the final outcome of the game. I just want to watch good hockey. Missed calls that are blatantly obvious disrupt the game far more than more reviews.
If it bothers a fairly neutral fan I can't imagine how much it will piss off someone who is a die hard for either side.
