Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Ron Wilson will have some new experienced help behind the bench next season.

Scott Gordon and Greg Cronin have been hired as assistant coaches on the Leafs staff, and both men come off recent head coaching stints.

According to general manager Brian Burke, both Keith Acton, who has been an assistant coach with the Maple Leafs since 2000 and Tim Hunter who joined the coaching staff in 2008, will not be back with the team next season.

If the leafs can land Richards for a reasonable sum, the team will be looking pretty good.

Reimer gives me new hope. The kid went 20-10-5 immediately after being called up from the marlies. This will be the first legit starting goalie that the leafs will have had since Belfour.

hows this sound
one of t.o's first this year (25 or 30th) + 2nd round pick + kadri for stastny

or even both first + second as burke said he'd gladly throw all 3 picks for a player that can impact now
if only

Rick Dudley is joining the Toronto Maple Leafs front office, the team announced by its Twitter account Friday.

Dudley had been the general manager of the Atlanta Thrashers for one year before the team was moved to Winnipeg this spring. The 62-year-old Toronto native was told three weeks ago that his services would not be needed in Manitoba by team owners True North Sports and Entertainment.

Kevin Cheveldayoff was chosen as the new GM of the Winnipeg Jets.

The Maple Leafs did not specify what Dudley's role or title will be.

Dudley had previously been a GM with the Ottawa Senators, Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers and has also coached the Panthers and Buffalo Sabres

After a season that saw him score 21 goals and 62 points for the Toronto Maple Leafs, forward Clarke MacArthur has signed a two-year, $6.5-million contract to stay in Toronto.

We need to get Schenn signed
