Not saying he worth it but in the current scenario i understand why they holding back
he's turning 23 in a month
the point is, he's not a 11mil player
sakic is doing right by not caving into his demand
he relies heavily on MacK to be "elite", and nearly 40% of his points are from the PP which isn't a bad thing, but at the same time he wont be as effective if the other team is disciplined and not give them much PP opportunities.
Combine that with no MacK, he's a 1 dimensional player that goes on a "slump" imo.
