Vinny Prospal given a PTO and will report to Canucks farm team.

Even though older than dirt (he's almost my age for fucks sakes) at least he's spent his career as a top 6-9 guy. Something Canucks sorely lack.

I know But it looked like Jay was only reading this thread and not the other so I thought I'd let him know.

We need to revive the crazy "what ifs" thread.

What if:

Islanders trade vanek for Gaborik.
Then get vanek back in offseason on the left and Gaborik on the right of Tavares
And land moulson in frre agency to put him and okposo on left and right with Nielson.

Thats at least kind of realistic. That ish would be cray.

They'd have to re-sign Gaborik too

And I'd rather keep Okposo on the 1st line and move Gaborik down to the 2nd, more balance.
