Not much of a rumor, but I'm interested in the jets situation. They didn't do much in FA, lost key dmen in Trouba and Myers (probably for the better on him) they have a 17.5 mil to sign 6 roster players. I'm sure a couple go to rookie contracts, but they still have to sign Connor and Laine which will eat up alot of that.

Rumour is Toronto has offered Marner between 9 and 11 million AAV, depending on the term. I guess it would be 11x2 and 9.5x7 or something around there

They offered a few different options, still don’t know how they can afford it, but w/e they’ll circumvent the cap somehow I’m sure

exactly, make them wait

Jets are going to need to cave soon, can't go into September/october with both RFA not signed
