I heard couple rumors on stastny. Also one on patches that I didn't really believe. Also Colin miller

Yea I’ve heard millers name but there d seems thin already so that wouldn’t solve much as I see it. All of their forwards seem like contributing rosters spots so I can’t imagine who they pick to try move. Stasny probably contributes less per cap hit $ , that also might make him harder to move.

Lotsa hot takes on Kessel

"Off the ice, Sullivan and other staff believe Kessel would be a better player - and set an example for younger Penguins players - if he showed a "greater commitment to fitness," sources told Rossi."

"Furthermore, Kessel's status as a regular at a local casino was apparently not viewed as an issue until younger players, including Jake Guentzel, started joining him there on days before games, which other players were told was frowned upon."

Some also think Kessel is partially at fault for Malkin's declining defensive play over the past two seasons. Sources told Rossi that they believe Malkin has picked up some of Kessel's bad defensive habits, including "inconsistent backchecking, inattentiveness regarding own-zone responsibilities, and poor puck management in the neutral zone."

so it's Kessel's fault the more accomplished veteran player is playing like a lazy floater? lol

Old, but Pavelski’s been in Tampa for a couple days and that seems like it’s gonna be official.

Sounds like Rangers are willing to give Breadman 11.5x6

frontrunners, but they will not go more so if someone outbids on him they'll let him go. Breadman wants 12-12.5 per season is what's reported (loool) unbelievable the contracts these days

That gave them enough room to sign point with some pocket change left over, they still need to sign 4-5 guys after that , unless they plan on opening the season with 9 forwards.

Yeah I still don't understand how Tampa is apparently "in" on all the massive names. It seems like they are going to have a tough time as it is to sign Point, let alone sign someone like Pavelski

I don’t buy that they are , like EK. Kicking tires on shit they can’t afford imaging they could just move Ryan Macdonagh if they get something worked out. I mean the tax rate makes a 1 mil difference between them and another city but they have league min numbers to work with. Plus a lot of key RFA’s next year.
