BC Ferries is losing a million a day due to dramatic reduction in travel. Even though they slashed most routes they're still bleeding money.

In before everyone gets stuck in the island...

JUST IN: NHL looking at restarting season in July.

Games would be played at 4 or 5 neutral sites with limited or no fans, according to Florida Panthers president Matt Caldwell.

On the conference call, he said this plan is not finalized.

Per ESPN:

Reported plan to use non-NHL runks for games this summer 'is dead,' league plans to use 2-4 of its own arenas

yeah i feel like neutral rinks is a good idea but i was thinking what if its not the official size or whatnot?
could be some issues that are created i feel like using their own rinks would be best

Probably eyeing up some ahl rinks. They already are setup for cameras and are the proper size.

Yeah, and of course capacity or local team preferences don't matter since games will be played behind closed doors. Wonder whether some teams will have logistical advantages tho.

Edmonton arena going to be used. There is even a community arena in the building that can be played in.

Only 400 covid cases of which 300+ Have recovered in Edmonton.

I don’t care where they play aslong as I can watch some playoff hockey

Zero chance it’s in Canada.

Tough to say. They’ll be looking for sites that have contained the spread of covid. Where in the states has that happened? That have an nhl size arena?

Carolina
Minnesota
Edmonton

Are all front runners.

Atlantic div is still undecided.
