yeah i figured as much you overpay when you are aggressively going after upgrades but at least it didnt cost us a prospect or high pick

Crosby gets paid 10 mil a year and these other 2nd and 3rd liners getting 7-9 mil a year with long term is absolutely insane.

I don't understand such overpayment for these ok/decent players.

Edit and Hayes is already 27 years old and consistently a 40-45 point player. He's not the kind of player that helps win cups. Flyers are going to regret this
