Halak getting traded?

Was talking to phewphew about him being traded a few weeks ago
There's been no rumors about it at all but it somewhat makes sense if we're in good shape

He was getting warmed up to play and now he’s not on bench so obviously there’s something in play rn

Either that or he's injured
Was driving home the first 2 min of the game so I couldn't see anything

Wonder who would want Halak that's not in the division 👀

He has not been great, however it doesnt help that we cant score, and our defense is a joke. He doesnt get any help. Id love to see him on a contender for a cup run. He is still a good goalie, this team is just so bad that no goalie could save us lol

I say no way halak gets traded. We need Rask to continue to get a reduced workloak IMO. This seemed like a health thing but I could be wrong.
Also we really don’t have a proven backup if something happens to Rask health wise or suck wise. I’m a big fan of having a backup G for only 2.5 mil that I can live with if he had to start a playoff game. .. but I guess if someone was gonna crazy overpay for halak you have to listen

The only trade that makes sense for us to me is something like Backes most or all salary, Heinen , 2020 1st , conditional 2021 1st (must win cup and player must play in cup finals) , and 1 prospect that’s not studnicka, Frederick and preferable not vaakinainin for a high level player on one of the first two lines.

At least your price that you are willing to pay is realistic except for taking 2 shit salary for 1 1st round and not one of your top 3 prospects. Would be cool but i think you will need to cough up one of those 3. Ive.seen some.oilers fans saying : lets get tatar for a 2nd round pick

Id be pretty happy to trade tatar to the bruins and take backes salary for a decent return. Habs have been on a streak lately but its about to end with arizona/penguins/bruins/dallas in the same week.

Id say that with krejci on the 2nd line it would make a pretty darn good fit
