Then today the Herald had a piece about Bettman urging the city to move forward, nothing about Nenshi, or counter arguments.
All pretty interesting when you figure out who pays all of their paychecks.... Murray Edwards. And Ken King used to be president of the Herald and Sun, etc. same with the 960 folks, of course they are for public funds, their bosses told them to say that, and actively working against the hands that feed them means they're cut. lel
Anyone who covers the Flames has an interest in the arena getting built. Thank goodness none of them have any 'real' power.
Nenshi seems to have his head on the right way for this project. He isnt saying yes or no but waiting for more information. Bettmans trip is at a very odd time, mainly because they are still gathering information (mainly about the clean up), I can certainly see why Nenshi was critical of him.
