Pretty much, previous years green didn't have the depth to work with. Benning got enough players and more for this season, and right now the bottom 6 is out playing the top 6.

yeah this macewen guy is a pretty solid bottom 6 and we got him from the nucks on waivers hes way better then i was expecting for a waiver claim
with him being waived i imagine your depth must be pretty good cause he came in and instantly started outplaying like our entire 4th line

MacEwen got outplayed by a lot of depth guys on the Canucks, even players in the AHL are ahead of him now like Lockwood & PDG, heck even Gajovich was before he got picked up by SJ. The only thing he's good at is fighting.

OEL has been solid so far, he leads the team at 56.2% CF on even strength, while making Myers much better too, he's at 52.8% lmao! Not only that, he also relieves some pressure off Hughes, so he's looking at lot closer to his rookie season than last.

He has been more physical and i haven't seen him make any mistakes yet. He's always at the right place and right time. Very good at closing the gap and keeping players to the outside.
