The biggest difference in the Pens IMO over the past few seasons compared to 5-10 years ago is the fact that they get consistent scoring from depth players. The Flyers are 6 deep at forward on top of all of our other problems at defense and goaltending. I still think the Pens having the extra scoring really has made them into the team they are today. Last year look at their 6 defenseman that won a cup. I don't think Letang played? They are like the Golden State Warriors of hockey with their ability to outscore teams.

Sadly, looks like you will win again and again and again. Goalie and defense are above average and good enough to compliment the scoring. Your players are locked up.
The Kessel trade is going to go down as the best trade of all time. And finding players like Haglin, Guentzel, Rust, and Sheary have put you over the top. Too much depth. Crosby and Malkin don't even need to be the best players anymore that is the scary thing lol

Our defense still has a lot of work to do, but yeah our offense is pretty tight

I still want to see crosby malkin and kessel play on the same line, when NOT on the PP

I don't know how you could stop them even at even strength.

I felt better about our odds being down 0-3 to the Bruins in 2010 then I do about being down 0-1 to the 2018 Pens lol

even if we get swept not many even thought flyers would get this far
even i thought it would be a "best scenario" situation and then we wouldnt do very well in the playoffs and im labled as a giant homer

we dont have a lot of depth up front our d is young and most first nhl playoff experience is this series we had a goalie playing good then he got hurt
plus hakstol splits up the lines that do work trying to create depth that isnt there and it kills the offense we did have lol
