Yeah I seem to recall someone saying he would be out but I don't think it's Pens since he had planned to do it this way too after I suggested it to him.

At that point I'm not sure if there will be a 1k league though, we're only 6 who have showed interest

Yeah that could work, since it's something different maybe try to put a low buy in to see how it goes first. I actually thought about that, but at the same time I wanted to put a relatively high buy in to keep people interested.

Could do a 250 fgs league though, it's better than nothing
